Atlanta is the central location to an array of excitement, attractions, music , glitz and glamour but on July 26, 2011 it was more then an event; it was a celebration ! Showcased at the beautiful grand ball room of the Buckhead Theater affectionately known as The Roxy , Young Jezzy brought it all the way back to where it all started 5 years ago when he first released his street classic “Thug Motivation:101â€.
With standing room only filling The Roxy, Young Jezzy brought out the tastemakers of Atlanta’s entertainment industry. Reaching the masses with the help of local radio powerhouse “The Peoples Station V103†; just simply added to the great sponsored support of the evening , not to mention Miller Lite was in attendance.
Backed by a full scale band, Young Jezzy started the show with an extreme jolt of energy that resignated with crowd participation and overwhelming swag throttled across the stage by Jezzy. Shortly into a few of his beloved hits, Jezzy brought out hometown favorite Lil Scrappy and chart topping rapper- Yo Gotti to assist him with bringing the house down one song at a time. In addition to the surprises, Jezzy took stroll down memory lane by performing a few of his recent cameo verses along side the band.
The growth of a rapper is essential in today’s market and Young jazzy has latched himself onto the successful wave and is riding it all the way into the sunset. Jezzy has found his way to an daunting career of success. This recent concert was just a taste of what we can expect as music lovers on the next album titled “Thug Motivation: 103â€.
This 3rd installment of Jezzy’s catalog album will exemplify the growth of his career and very well put him in barbershop talk as one of the best in the south ; along side the T.I’s , Big Boi’s, Bun B to name a few. The performance at The Roxy has given Jezzy one up on some of his counterparts that refuse to stretching the envelop of creativity.
