F.A.T Tues

Forgive me but imma take yall down memory lane real quick. Last night Chris leaned over to me and ask “Where’d Poon go?” Id never meet the man nor had any idea what he looked like. But when he said Poon I was instantly taken back to a time that shaped not just Atlanta but the industry as we know it today. In the main pic everyone knows that’s Luda & Eudoxie but the gentlemen to Luda’s right is Poon AKA Poon Daddy. And them two! The two of  them shaped Atlanta 4 me. I remember sitting in my homeboy Kenny’s drive way scanning thru the radio and stumbling across a new station that was letting songs run uncensored for a moment and these two dudes acting a fool. That dial was 97.5. and the show was The Chris Luva Luva & Poon Daddy Show. Yeahhhh all my tru Atliens kno what Im talm bout… I mean the days where you’d get off at Spring St cuz when you made that left on Peachtree The Shark Bar was right there on ya right. Then you’d head a lil further down and Club Kaya would be there on the left and when 112 was on Cheshire Bridge not Peachtree. And the clubs stayed open what it seemed like all night. And it was NO GOLD CLUB it was The Gold Room. I was a young dude gettin it in up there HaHa My man Tiny used to work the door up there. S/O 2 Tiny for putting me on A lot of good and wild memories went down in that spot. But if The Gold Club wasn’t your cup of tea then you could hit Stewart Ave and I seen some things at Club Nikki’s That I’d neva seen before man to be a kid in Atlanta back then AWESOME… I had just coped that Dodge K sires white with the chrome rims trimmed in white had that  Kilo Ali ‘Do you hear what I hear” beating out the trunk cant forget The Bankhead Bounce, Raheem The Dream, The Ragtop, Southernplayalisticadillacfunkymuzik yea that’s the A-Town I grew up in and Freaknic aint even gone speak on that wouldn’t want it to try and be done again but it was an Awesome era don’t take my word for it just ask anybody that was here for it… 1 time for the SouthSide S/O 2 All the Playboy’s that use to rock the Talent Show’s Vernon What up hommie, Big hommie Nate used to run Clay Co from Morrow Pericate the game Sakari hope you’ve forgiven me and imma sign off like this for the ATOWN YEET!!!!
