Beautiful Textures kicks off the BET Experience Weekend with The Cut Life LIVE LA, a private event in celebration of The Cut Life’s two-year anniversary. A bevy of beauty enthusiasts gathered at the Jasmine Ashley Salon with co-founders Garmai K Momolu and Tahira Joy, and celebrity stylist Jasmine Ashley, whom executed two live cuts!
Guests in attendance were able to engage in Q&A as Jasmine chopped the locks of the models into a beautiful bob and a playful pixie. Jasmine used Beautiful Textures Tangle Taming moisturizing shampoo and leave-in conditioner, and Curl Definer mousse to create the perfect mold for both cuts.
Celebrity stylists, China Upshaw from WE TV’s LA Hair, Felicia Leatherwood (Jill Scott, Ava Duvernay), Ray D. (Tamar Braxton, Sevyn, Adrienne Bailon), barber Vernon Scott (Maxell, Chrisette Michelle, Kanye West), and even celebrity short hair stunner, Keisha Epps, of the R&B group Total, showed their support.
Attendees enjoyed cocktails by Myx Fusions Moscato, a variety of customized California Doughnuts, and gift bags stocked full of the Beautiful Textures product line, including the highly-coveted, Texture Manageability System, as seen on the hit talk show, The Real.
