With their iconic jams and psychedelic melodies, Dead & Company, the legendary collaboration of Grateful Dead members and John Mayer, took the stage with electrifying energy, transporting the crowd to another dimension. Mumford & Sons and The Lumineers, two chart-topping folk rock titans, contributed their foot-stomping anthems to the mix, fostering an intimate show between artists and fans as their spirited performances reverberated throughout the festival grounds.
The festival shook with infectious beats as rap icon Ludacris took the stage, igniting a frenzy among the crowd. Throughout the weekend, the local talents of New Orleans shone brightly, with Trombone Shorty and Orleans Avenue leading the charge. Their energizing fusion of jazz, funk, and hip-hop sparked an irresistible groove that swept the streets. Galactic, featuring Anjelika ‘Jelly’ Joseph, performed their signature blend of funk, soul, and contemporary sounds, leaving a lasting impression on all who heard them. Not to mention the spellbinding performances of Keb’ Mo’, Tab Benoit, Anders Osborne, and the legendary Preservation Hall Jazz Band, who paid homage to the city’s vibrant musical traditions, infusing the festival with an undeniable local flavor.
