Color blocking is a fashion trend that always seems to come and go and this season, “pop” colors are in for this trend. It’s all about pairing contrasting colors together, or colors that compliment each other with a POP of something completely opposite -such as pairing a fuchsia-colored top with a light-colored blazer and emerald-green pants. I have never really been a big fan of these bold looks, but I must say that I am coming around to it this season. Spring and Summer are going to be big on 70’s fashion this year, and a lot of color blocking seems to be involved. This is definitely the trend to use if you are trying to make a statement, or be set apart from everyone else in the room. It takes a lot of guts to try something like this out, but I think anybody who is fashion-forward can pull it off.
