While checking my homegirl NecoleBitchie I came across her “What Should I do?” post and when she said the new Rise commercial was an attempt the rebuild Lebron’s Image. Like Tina did Ike in the Limo it finally hit me…LOL Now Lebron has no one to answer to but God so if and if he feels he’s moving according to his will and doing whats best for his family than Kudos to him. Now to the city it was much bigger than that. In a city where min. wage is terrible and job opportunities are scarce. Lebron represented HOPE and HOPE is a powerful thing we see how it changed the world on Nov 4th 2008. When your struggling to survive you need someone to follow. Thus Lebron James. Its not only that he’s a good look for the city and they were wining even tho it wasn’t championships. They felt like they were part of something. The people of Cleveland needed to be a part of something I mean you could be laid off watching the Cavs plays and when the hometeams wins a lil bit inside of you wins and for that moment you’ve forgotten the troubles of the world that lays on your shoulders.
