I bought a tix last night for the 1st time in a long time as I paid a photographer and gave him the photo pass so i could enjoy the show. It was a much needed break to a hectic weekend. And that breath of fresh air came via J Cole (pause) who’s just that to hip hop. A breath of fresh air, in a way of life that has become clouded by the extravagance of the lifestyle and less for the quality & meaning for what hip hop was supposed to be thus creating the rap game. “Not saying I’m better than Hov but I’m the closest one to it” Cole quoted in one of his lyrics. That Line looked kind of prophetic as i looked into the crowd and the entire tabernacle had the ROC sign thrown in the air. The kids young and with Jay Z and the Roc behind him, well you know what they say about building on a solid foundation. J Cole took to the stage accompanied by 2 keyboardist & a DJ. A DJ who rocked the crowd prior to JCole coming out and had the Tabernacle feeling like a block party or circa the roof top something I’m sure these youngin know nothing about…LOL but it was a great time and great show if you wanna catch up with JCole on #ColeWorld Tour catch him in the following cites. S/O 2 Roc Nation for the photo pass. To cacth up JCole on the tour click here
