Happy National Women’s Entrepreneurship Day! Last night, the co-founders of C&D The Agency – Courtney R. Rhodes and Dina Marto – celebrated the launch of their all women-led management firm with a small dinner at the trendy Tropicalé in Atlanta.
Sponsored by C&D client Giovanni di Palma (owner of Little Italia Restaurants), the invite-only event toasted the agency’s clients and staff and set an optimistic tone for the future of the new company. Guests enjoyed a 3-course Cuban-inspired meal of lobster, bone-in filet monsieur, tiger prawns and oysters along with a playlist curated by five-time Grammy-winning producer and C&D client Tricky Stewart.
During a brief thank-you speech, Marto and Rhodes acknowledged their talented team members Kyion Williams (Director of Business & Finance at C&D), Adrianne Brown (Operations Coordinator), Sandy Madanat (Project Manager), and Gabrielle Strickland (Marketing & Media Relations Coordinator).
Additional C&D clients in attendance were entertainer/entrepreneur T.I., attorney James Walker (J. Walker & Associates), Dr. James Chappuis (founder, Spine Center Atlanta), and Steve Ewing (CEO, Wade Ford).
Special guests in the room included Rob Pitts (Chair, Fulton Co. Board of Commissioners), Reggie Rouse (VP Programming, Entercom), Audra Pittman (VP, SCAD Atlanta), attorney Sean Pittman (Pittman Law Group), Narcis Alikhani (Director of Marketing, Atlanta Hawks), entertainment attorneys Vince Phillips (Law Office of Vincent P. Phillips) and Leron Rogers (Partner, Fox Rothschild LLP), William “Bam” Sparks (co-founder, Trap Music Museum), Krystal Garner (GM, Trap Music Museum), Quinnie Jenkins (Southwest Airlines), and attorney Angela Ramson (Shareholder, Greenberg Traurig).
