Creativet’s Benefit Concert

A night bigger than the stars that graced the stage at The CMA Theater at the Country Music Hall of Fame. That was the case for the Creativet’s Benefit Concert featuring Drake White, Brett Young, Craig Campbell, Jordan Davis and many others including hit songwriters Chris Gelbuda, Dave Turnbull and Tiffany Goss. A notable moment was when Creativet Josh was gifted a new Taylor Guitar for his dedication to the program and gave a brief speech about the good Creativets has done for him and other vets that have come through the doors at the office on 12 South. We saw a beautiful acoustic performance of Outskirts of Heaven by Craig Campbell as well as many songs co-written by vets seeing the stage at one of the most hallowed places in country music. The night ended with Brett Young winning the closest to the pin at the golf round earlier in the day. Young was rewarded with a putter and immediately decided to auction it off to donate the proceeds to Creativets. The putter, which Young signed, and a few other things Young threw in during the impromtu auction went for $1,600.
