After a musical hiatus, Bass-house producer, DESTRUCTO, blasts back, with the single release (Mar. 26,) of “Bandz”,” featuring rappers Yo Gotti, Kevin Gates, and Denzel Curry. Following a musical hiatus, DESTRUCTO released “Bandz,” Mar. 26 via Parametric Records, marking the second collaboration between DESTRUCTO (Gary Richards,) and rapper, Yo Gotti.
The pair previously joined forces for the track, “Loaded,” which recently received two fresh takes as remixes from Walker & Royce and SQWAD. In addition to Yo Gotti, “BANDZ” features two of today’s most talented
rappers, including the multi-platinum recording artist, with over seven billion streams, Kevin Gates, as well as one of the hottestemerging acts in rap music, Miami-based rapper, Denzel Curry. Gates’ most recent album I’M HIM debuted #1 on the Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop Album Sales chart and at #4 on the Billboard 200 chart, making it his fourth top 10 album. Curry’s recent rise includes the release of Unlocked, an impressive EP alongside producer Kenny Beats. “BANDZ” is a banger of a track, with a new-way vibe, accompanied by a retro beat, reminiscent of Eminem’s Slim Shady LP, and Marshall Mathers LP. The edgy, retro hip-hop of “BANDZ” incorporates the perfect EDM push to be featured on any hyped playlist.
