Newlyweds Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert had an amazing night at the CMT Awards in Nashville, Tennessee on Wednesday (08Jun11), picking up three of the nine top honors between them.
Blake Shelton won Male Video and Web Video of the Year prizes for his hits Who Are You When I’m Not Looking and Kiss My Country A**, while his new bride landed the Female Video of the Year award for ballad The House That Built Me.
The night’s biggest winner was Taylor Swift, who walked away with Video of The Year honors for her promo Mine.
Justin Bieber also picked up his first ever CMT award for his That Should Be Me collaboration with country trio Rascal Flatts.
The two-and-a-half hour show at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville was hosted by Kid Rock, who kicked off proceedings by performing a duet with Wynonna Judd.
