On July 13, the Miami Marlins’ Jiffy Lube Friday Night Live will present a post-game on-field concert with internationally acclaimed rap and pop artist Flo Rida featuring Tyler Medeiros. The concert is presented by the 50 MPG Toyota Prius and first pitch versus the National League East division rival Washington Nationals is set for 7:10 p.m. at Marlins Park (501 Marlins Way, Miami, Florida 33125). Over the last several years, Flo Rida (born Tramar Dillard) has become a chart fixture thanks to the blockbuster singles “Low (feat. T-Pain),” “Right Round,” “Club Can’t Handle Me,” and his most recent chart-topping hits, “Good Feeling,” “Wild Ones (feat. Sia)” and “Whistle.” This success has resulted in more than 60 million singles sold worldwide, and six consecutive RIAA platinum certified hits. But perhaps Flo Rida’s biggest accomplishment is the way the Carol City native has broken down barriers by uniting millions of pop, hip-hop, and club music fans around the world and establishing himself as an international, genre-busting superstar in the process.
