Floyd Mayweather Jr. Defeats Manny Pacquiao In Unanimous Decision

In the fight dubbed by many as “The Fight Of the Century,” Floyd Mayweather Jr. defended Manny Pacquiao in a 12 round unanimous decision Saturday night in Las Vegas, NV.

Mayweather beat Pacquiao for the welterweight world championship, upping the champ’s record to a perfect 48-0.

The match, reportedly the highest grossing fight in boxing history, set Pay-Per-View records, with estimated revenue over $300 million, of which 60%, win or lose, going to Floyd Mayweather.

After the fight, many viewers took to social media, calling the bout more of a Snoozefest than a championship boxing match. But with Wayfeather sitting at an undefeated 48-0 and pocketing $100 plus, we’re sure the fighter could careless what anyone has to say about last night’s bout or his fighting style.

Mayweather is under contract with Showtime for one more fight in September, with a challenger that is yet to be determined. According to reports, Floyd Mayweather is leaning towards retirement after his next fight.
