With an “Exclusive” invite only Jamhal King of STEPS Events, WB Records and Asylum made sure that tonight was a “Kandi Koated” night at The W Hotel tonight for Kandi’s listening party here in Atlanta, Georgia. A sneak peek of her album was given tonight of her new album which is in stores December 14, 2010. The beautiful songstress celebrated the release of her new album tonight with her closest friends, family, and fans. Shout out to DJ Trauma on the one’s and two’s with DJ A1. This may have been a listening party but fashion was definitely a topic to take note of as well. The very fashionable Lawrence who you may all know from The Atlanta Housewives television show was there to support Kandi, Lisa Wu Hartwell and husband Ed Hartwell were also in attendance. Kandi had much support tonight from people like Joe Johnson of the Atlanta Hawks, Peter, owner of Uptown Restaurant, recording artist Tank who also has an album being released today, “Luscious” from Wanda’s “playhouse,” CTE, Rasheeda, DJ Kash, DJ Sense, Jazze Pha, Drumma Boy, and the list goes on and on!
