The Funkshion Tent in South Beach was at full capacity Saturday night for Luli Fama’s runway show. The highly anticipated event drew in local reality star RHWM Lisa Hochstein and her husband Leonard Hochstein. While guests waited, they were provided with folding fans and complimentary drinks by Stolichnaya Vodka.

The show opened up with a tribal dance number. The perfectly bronzed models had big messy hair (some even had colorful, braided hair pieces) and colorful FLASH tattoos.
The collection featured lots of vibrant colors and prints, fringe, one-pieces dressy cover-ups and itty-bitty cheeky bottoms.
Exclusive Access caught up with the designer backstage where we gushed about her collection and what inspired it. “I was going for a bohemian-chic look. Very glamorous as Luli Fama always is. Very laid back, very earthy and tribal” said Luli.
The swim line also included stylish, chic cover-ups which were far from the usual. “We wanted to have some pieces that go from the beach, to lunch, dinner, or even a club. Just things that you can wear without the actual swimsuit.”
As far as what we can expect for her next years swim show, the designer told us she’ll be adding a beach bag to her line.
