Stuey Rock - Thinking Outside The Box

Dare to be different has always been a way of life but unfortunately the media doesn’t always accept versatility. As a person who’s no stranger to being versatile or the entertainment industry, Stuey Rock was created as a means for the media and the fans to focus on the music instead of the artist. The artist currently known as Stuey Rock was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri in a middle class neighborhood with his four brothers and sisters. Growing up, he’s always had an interest in music but his main hobbies were mostly sports like basketball, wrestling, and soccer in particular. It wasn’t until his teenage years that he began to have an interest in entertainment and at the age of 16 he began promoting and hosting local parties. Despite his parents wishes to pursue a college education, he soon begun to throw and even invest in parties earning himself enough money to venture out on his own. Besides becoming a local celebrity, he was also chosen out of thousands of audition tapes for a job hosting a Hip Hop show on national television. The TV gig then led to an even better opportunity to take his career further but that meant relocating to Atlanta, Georgia where he currently resides.

Despite all the success that he’s had in his hometown and on television, Stuey Rock has always had his heart in making music. It wasn’t until he started doing TV that he gained enough confidence to really pursue his love for music. As time passed and more opportunities became available such as being signed to Def Jam by Kevin Liles for a year, the idea and concept of Stuey Rock became even more important. Growing up he was always told that because he was “black” he was suppose to listen to artists such as Biggie Smalls, Tupac, and Cash Money but instead of being what everyone else wanted him to be, he just wanted to be himself. Living the life of Hip Hop while still listening to the likes of Linkin Park, Green Day, Good Charlotte, and Gym Class Heroes, his musical influences play a major factor in his diverse musical style. He allows his life to dictate his music instead of what everyone else expects him to do. With the support of friends, family, and other recording artist such as Nellly and Chingy, Stuey Rock was created as an outlet to produce great music the way he knows best, from the heart.

In addition to the creation of Stuey Rock, an independent label, Proof Entertainment was also created with the intention to take his music to the next level and beyond. With hit makers Stuey Rock, Rob Fetti and producer Honarable C.N.O.T.E, on deck, you can expect more club bangers from Proof Entertainment such as Stuey Rock’s popular track “Nympho Maniac” ft. Rob Fetti and his latest single “Jook It” produced by DJ Montay. Also, be on the look out for more great collabos with artists and producers such as Bobby Valentino, Shawty Redd, Muffy Cupcakeopia, Blazed, DJ Unk, Marvelous J, DJ Montay and Joe Blow Da CEO.
