Roc Nation Presents Made in America Day 1

Music lovers arrived on Benjamin Franklin Parkway to experience the festival grounds and support local Philadelphia businesses and organizations in Cause Village.

Across three stages – Rocky, Liberty, and TIDAL – artists brought the energy for the first major music festival in Philly this year. Lil Baby brought out Lil Uzi Vert and closed out the festival with an incredible set, Megan Thee Stallion and her Hotties had the whole crowd with their “hands on their knees,” Meek Mill surprised his hometown with a set, Kehlani’s sultry sounds coursed through festival grounds, Bia performed her chart-topping WHOLE LOTTA MONEY, newcomer Destin Conrad played his first festival with a surprise appearance by Ambre and much more.

Attendees overwhelmingly downloaded Clear’s Health Pass for a safe & efficient entry, with Dr. Farber and Baker Street Health, and Human performance leading testing efforts for those who required additional COVID-19 tests on site.

Produced by Roc Nation, MADE IN AMERICA the JAY-Z curated two-day music festival made its return to Benjamin Franklin Parkway for the 10th year. The staple of Labor Day weekend has brought the biggest names in music, and up-and-coming superstars to the city of brotherly love.

Since the inaugural two-day concert in 2012, the event has generated over $135 million in economic impact for the city of Philadelphia. The festival not only honors artists and music lovers, but it also benefits organizations like Black Voters Matter, HeadCount, ACCT Philly Animal Welfare, United in Community, and more that are vital to accomplishing much-needed positive work through Cause Village.
