2 Chainz just announced that he’s starting his own label called The REAL University (a.k.a. The Real U, a.k.a. T.R.U.).
Chainz plans on releasing a new mixtape, TRU Jack City, on January 27 to showcase his roster consisting of rappers Cap 1, Skooly, Fresh (aka Short Dawg), Young Dolph and Bankroll Fresh.
For now, here’s a taste of what to expect from The Real U roster. Chainz plans to release a new song every Thursday, leading up to the release of the new mixtape, so stay tuned.
