The original 300 was an amazing movie. It was historical, entertaining and to the
point. 300: Rise of an Empire was also a entertaining movie but with a few flaws.
In the battle scenes the producers use way to much slow much slow motion and it 
was getting to the point where it seemed to drag, and it wouldn’t have been as bad
if slow motion was done on every little scene. Every time someone blinked an eye
there was slow-mo. Also the fake blood was way to much. A little blood here and 
there never hurt anybody but to much makes it look to unrealistic. But the story
line was flawless and the background story to the (antagonist) woman gave flares
and sparks to her character. The movie was about maybe 2 1/2 stars for the most 
part. But it can still be enjoyed. But not recommendable.

P.S.: the last fight scene the female antagonist decapitated a spartan by hitting
him with the dull edge of her blade around the neck. I was unaware bone broke that
easy.
