Young Thug Announces ‘Tha Carter VI’ Release Date, Reveals Album Cover

Hip-hop fans still aren’t sure whether Young Thug calling his debut album Tha Carter VI is blatant disrespect or the utmost admiration towards Lil Wayne.

And as if things couldn’t get any weirder, Young Thug’s album cover, pictured above, was recently released, featuring the Atlanta rapper somewhat naked.

All things considered, Lil Wayne isn’t too pleased with Young Thug’s antics, and he let his feelings be known during a concert in Mississippi on Thursday.

“Before I go any further, I want y’all to do me a favor and stop listening to songs of n*ggas that pose naked on they motherf*king album cover,” Weezy said.

Regardless of which side of the fence you’re on in the Young Thug vs. Lil Wayne debate, Thug’s Tha Carter VI, oddly, has a release date before Wayne’s Carter V. Whether you’re fan or foe, Thugga’s Tha Carter VI will be released on April 17th. Brace yourselves.
