From the salon pop up’s to the Trap House store, 2 Chainz and The Street Exec have set the bar with the marketing of Pretty Girls Like Trap Music album. So it’s only fitting that his live show be more of an experience. That’s exactly what we got at the closing of BET Weekend while kicking off his Pretty Girls Like Trap Music tour live from The Novo.
The way the show opened with the trap choir was cinematic. I wont spoil it for you, but trust me, get your tickets now because this tour will sell out. Chainz takes you on a journey through the Trap. Closing out BET Weekend, why not have a show that would rival the actual awards themselves. Truth be told, I actually enjoyed the concert more than I did the award show. Performing Pretty Girls Like Trap Music…why not do the album live and bring out Jhene Aiko, Ty Dolla, Swae Lee and more. 2 Chainz even had special surprise guest and GOOD Music fam Big Sean come out and rep. Chance the Rapper let it be known that you don’t want no problems. As the roof was being let off the building Kung Fu Kenny aka Kendrick Lamar had to come out and remind folks to Be Humble and that this Trap Music was in Tit’s DNA.
Even without the awesome surprise guests, the show stands solid on its on and will make people rethink their live shows going forward.
