Made In America celebrated the diversity of cultures that make music what it is today with Latin headliners, Reggae legends, and soulful serenaders closing out the long-awaited weekend with a literal bang. To celebrate the festival’s 10th anniversary, artists created memorable experiences across all three stages – Rocky, Liberty, and Freedom.
Becca Hannah’s pure and emotional sound kicked off the festival while the Liberty was home to today’s top Latin artists. Chimbala’s suave dancers had attendees moving and swaying, leading to Fuerza Regida’s Mexican pop and Rels B’s Spanish hip-hop that lit the crowd on fire. Over on the Rocky stage, Colombia’s latest sensation Ryan Castro kept the crowd on their feet with an explosive performance.
Nigerian Afrobeats star Burna Boy reminded his loyal fans how he likes to party by putting on a killer performance featuring fiery stage effects and his song of the summer, “Last Last.” Canadian star Tate McRae brought the rhythm to the Rocky Stage while Sweden’s Snoh Aalegra stunned the crowd with a powerful vocal performance.
Bad Bunny’s performance brought out thousands of fans singing along to their favorite songs with anthems that represented Puerto Rico. Bad Bunny beamed with pride from the stage with a colorful and emotional encore performance that had concertgoers on their feet.
Over the course of the two days, 25,800 festival goers pledged social actions after learning and being inspired by the organizations at Cause Village. From Majorwavez Lab debuting customized shoes for good, to USVI bringing fun and diversity to the attendees, and ACCT Philly providing attendees with much needed puppy love, the festival captured the feel good energy of the original Made in America.
