Gayle ‘scared but trying tour’ Hits Phoenix

One word to describe last night’s show at the Valley Bar in Phoenix was electric. This underground bar was the perfect venue for this intimate pop-rock concert. The night started with an amazing opening performance from UK pop-rock singer DYLAN. We were even lucky enough to celebrate her British birthday with her, as she turned 23 just a few hours after her performance here in America. DYLAN brought out all of her best hits, opening with “SomeoneElse” and the entire crowd was ready. She sang her newest release “Rebel Child” and was completely relatable by talking about exes who think they’re too cool, and then performing her hit “You’re Not Harry Styles.” The crowd ate up her edgy vibe, and anyone who didn’t know
who she was, wanted to.

After a brief intermission, the queen Gayle took the stage, welcomed by beautiful orange lights that looked like a sunset, singing “indieedgycool.” She introduced every song in a special or funny way. Saying “this songs about fu***ng around and finding out,” when introducing “snow angels” or letting her bandmates take a shot. Gayle kept her bandmates and crowd involved throughout the entire show. With the crowd ages 16 to millennials, she had us all on our feet and the amount of head banging and fist bumping explained the show in itself. Up-and-coming artists need to take note of her because Gayle knows how to put on a show. With ten shows left of her 2023 tour, make sure you don’t miss out on an epic performance.
