Coming fresh off the release of his critically acclaimed new album, God Said No, Omar Apollo performed to an electric Thursday night in Mesa, Arizona. The stage was adorned with celestial visuals and imaginative lighting, creating an intimate yet engaging ambiance. Omar’s soulful vocals resonated as he played tracks from the new album, alongside imagined versions of fan favorites like “Evergreen” and “Kamikaze.” Opening act Kevin Abstract set the mood with an energetic performance highlighting his new solo tracks such as Blanket as well as some of his verses off of his former boy band Brockhampton.
