Vice President Kamala Harris urged Arizona voters on Thursday to “turn the page on Donald Trump” in her final pitch to revive Democratic momentum in a key battleground state. Addressing a crowd of over 7,000 at Talking Stick Resort Amphitheater in Phoenix, Harris pledged to be a president for all Americans—contrasting herself with Trump, whom she described as focused on a vengeful administration.
“I’m not here to score political points. I’m here to make progress,” Harris said in her 25-minute speech.
“I pledge to listen to experts, to those impacted by my decisions, and even to those who disagree with me. Unlike Donald Trump, I don’t see people who disagree with me as the enemy.”
“He wants to put them in jail. I’ll make sure they have a seat at the table.”
During the Halloween rally, Harris highlighted her domestic agenda, emphasizing plans to tackle inflation, deliver tax cuts for middle-class Americans, and safeguard health care protections, including abortion rights.
