The NOLA Love Rally 2024 was proudly hosted by InspireNOLA Charter Schools on Friday, November 1, from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM. The event brought together 2,000 invited students from across New Orleans to celebrate their academic achievements and promote unity within the community. Renowned Southern hip-hop artists Juvenile, Mannie Fresh, B.G., and Turk delivered electrifying performances, energizing the audience with their music and inspiring messages. Distinguished guests, including Congressman Troy Carter, Council members Freddie King III and Leslie Harris, Arkesha Baquet of Lil Dizzy’s, Jamar McKneely (CEO of InspireNOLA), and Pastor Jonathan Everett, shared their insights and encouragement with the students. The rally was a key component of the NOLALove initiative, which focuses on academic excellence, family wellness, mental health awareness, and community service to address the youth crisis in New Orleans. Partnering with Rock of Ages Baptist Church, the event emphasized holistic development and the importance of building a supportive and cohesive community. Interactive sessions and workshops provided students with valuable resources and strategies for maintaining their well-being and achieving their goals.
