I first met Noah Dillion at a party in the lower east side a few years ago. It was special, it was dark, it was the future. The future 2 years later at an intimate concert in Phoenix, Arizona I again had the same feeling. This is the future and past at the same time, I felt like I was transported to an episode of the UK show Skins. The future is now. The Hellp is the future of music.
Accompanied by band member Chandler Ransom Lucy, he and Dillon performed to a sold out crowd Wednesday night in Phoenix at Valley Bar. Performing some of the songs off their newest record LL and unique remixes of some of their older popular songs such as Tu Tu Neurotic and Ssx. The band was supported by Veronica Everheart an indie electro/rock/pop artist local to the Phoenix area. Everheart started the show with deep synths mixed with live mixing vocal chops with a grungy guitar mixed in.
The Hellp brought a much needed return to indie sleaze to Phoenix.
Their tour continues through Friday 11/22 finishing in Pomona, CA. Click here to join the waitlist for the final show of the tour. Click here to stream LL. Click here to stream Veronica Everheart
