Last night Nicole stopped by [YouTube](https://www.youtube.com/space/newyork/) and
performed unheard songs from her unreleased album ending her performance with her
breakthrough single “You” which hit No. 1 on Billboard’s Adult R&B Songs chart.
Her songs all were inspired by different times in her life. So deep! She then sat
down and discussed how her teacher introduced her to the idea to study Lauren Hill
and how much of an inspiration she is to her art. Nicole brought out her friend
of 10 years and relived the moment [Roc Nation](https://rocnation.com/) called her
exactly one month after she quit her job to take that leap of faith. She’s a believer
of god with an amazing and unique sound. Nicole’s positive energy flooded the room.
It was impossible to leave feeling anything less than amazing and inspired.
