The Angel C. Reese Foundation made a meaningful impact in Atlanta on Sunday, welcoming hundreds of local families to its annual Back to School Bash, where students received free backpacks and school supplies ahead of the new academic year.
The community event served 1,000 elementary and middle school families, each receiving a clear backpack stocked with essential classroom supplies to help students start the school year prepared for success.
Beyond the giveaways, families enjoyed an afternoon of food, refreshments, live entertainment from a DJ, interactive games, raffle prizes, and a special appearance from Atlanta Dream All-Star Angel Reese, who spent time engaging with attendees and supporting the Foundation’s mission.
