Are You The Next 1 is a monthly live performance event that features some of the best new and seasoned talent. We also serve as a platform for our guests to network with industry professionals. The event has been ongoing in Dallas Tx for the past 8 months and will be coming to more cities soon!! Our first Atlanta event was held on April 30th With Over 150 in attendance at Apache Café in Atlanta, Georgia. Our second event took place on June 18th 2011, at Apache Cafe. The night consisted of 10 Acts and 2 featured artists locally and nationally. We even had artists drive out from Alabama, and another and her management flew out from Houston.Performers were judged based on their originality, skill level, delivery and stage performance.

The panelists for the evening included :

LARIE LYNN-MANAGER FOR TRUTHE HURTS/CONSULTANT FOR AMERICAN IDOL.

The  line up consisted of many talented artists such as: Whitney Lynn,Brittney Camille, LiL Fatigue, B.Benai, and  more. We a variety of Hip Hop,Pop, and R&B acts hit the stage. Music Producer JaiGotThemBeats stated:”One thing I really like about the event is the fact that AreYouTheNext1? is such a universal movement , it has the potential to become a really Huge thing.”

Featured artist Dynasty did such a great Job on stage that Allhiphop VP Steve Raze is featuring her song on the site as “Heater Of The Day”.

“I really like this event, it has a unique feel” Said Steve, Id be glad to be a panelist anytime,any city.”Artists, producers,songwriters and more can benefit from the opportunity to network with real people in the industry.”

All the artists did great!! There were no weak performers, although the judges had comments for several of the artists the talent level was high. Before the night was over Saxophonist and Special Guest Performer Ryan Kilgore stole the show with some spectacular musicianship.

2 lucky contestants walked away with free Studio Time and an interview on a high traffic internet radio station from our Prize Sponsors. Although the judges made their choices, every one walked out as a winner with knowledge,confidence, and constructive feedback for improvement! Even the artists that didn’t make the submission deadline but still came out had a chance to make some great connections and learn more about the business. The next show will take place again at Apache Café in midtown atlanta.
