**How did you get the name AJ the R&B General? **

_I named my first mix tape AJ The R&B General and it stuck ever since. _

**How long have you been performing? **

_I’ve been performing for 15 years. _

**Where are you from?**

_Miami, FL _

**What was it like winning BET’s 106&Park Wild Out Wednesdays not only once but 
twice?**_

_It was the best feeling ever, especially knowing that I have  supporters out there
that went the extra mile to make sure I won! I love my fans_

**Who are some of your influences? **

_My influences is my family and especially my mother and father. _

**What other r&b artists do you think are hot or influential right now? **

_Right now, definitely Usher & R.Kelly _

**How do you feel about today’s music? **

_I personally feel like its lacking realness and it sounds artificial not like how
music used to be. _

**What do you bring to the music world? **

_I feel as if I bring a unique, creative, real style that any and everyone can relate
to. _

**What female artist would you most like to perform with? **

_Right now I would have to say Jasmine Sullivan, Jennifer Holiday and family friend
Betty Wright. _

**How would you describe your music? **

_As I mentioned earlier, unique, creative, real style that any and everyone can 
relate to. _
