Camron and Friends Live on The Purple Haze 2 Tour

“The South Got Something To Say” Andre Benjamin told the crowd while accepting the award for best new rap group at the 95 Source Awards. Those words still ring true till this day. No where was that more evident then watching the opening acts perform on Camron‘s Purple Haze tour stop in Nashville at The Basement East. Fu Stan opened the night with a range of songs but closed out his set with his current single “Got Me Open“. Next up was Tim Gent, a Singer Songwriter ,who encompasses what’s beautiful about the South, the soul, the message , the flow, the funk, he touches it all and his music reflects that , a true eclectic Hip Hop artist. His curent single is “Vibin” ft Bryant Taylor and can be streamed by clicking here. Closing out the openers was Camron’s newest signee D-Blockk JMac who raps with a pain from a broken home and not just his trials in and out the penal system from a young age. Nashville is starting to make some noise and remind folks that that South still got something to say and putting all those who didn’t know that Nashville is more than Country Music… Shout Out DJ A.B Eastwood providing the vibes for the evening and putting Nashville on his back!
