Celtics Extend Winning Streak to Five with 108-97 Road Victory Over Orlando Magic

ORLANDO, FL – The Boston Celtics overcame their recent struggles at Orlando’s Kia Center on Sunday afternoon, pulling away late to defeat the Orlando Magic 108-97 and extend their winning streak to five games. After a competitive battle through much of the afternoon, Boston found another gear in the fourth quarter, making key plays down the stretch to secure its first road victory of the season.

Jayson Tatum led the charge with a game-high 32 points, seven assists and four rebounds, delivering several clutch baskets to help Boston take control. Paul George provided an impressive all-around performance with 17 points, eight assists, six rebounds, two steals and two blocks, including a late three-pointer that helped put the game out of reach. The Celtics also received valuable contributions from their bench, with Luka Garza scoring a season-high 12 points and Baylor Scheierman adding a season-best 10.

Orlando fought to stay within striking distance behind strong performances from Anthony Black and Tristan da Silva, who each finished with 23 points. Black added eight rebounds while helping fill the void left by injured guard Jalen Suggs, while da Silva connected on five three-pointers to keep the Magic competitive. However, turnovers proved costly for Orlando, as Boston capitalized on 18 Magic giveaways to score 21 points. With the victory, the Celtics improved to 5-1, while the Magic dropped to 2-4. Boston now heads to Houston for a Monday night showdown against the Rockets, looking to extend its winning streak to six games.
