Wild night at Audi Field as D.C. United and CF Montréal battled to a dramatic 4-4 draw. D.C. carried a 2-1 lead into halftime after goals from Louis Munteanu and Jared Stroud, while Prince Owusu pulled one back for Montréal just before the break. Tai Baribo converted a penalty early in the second half to extend the lead, and Lucas Bartlett later added a fourth off a corner from Keisuke Kurokawa. But Montréal refused to quit, with Owusu completing his hat trick in stoppage time before Gennadiy Synchuk scored a last-second equalizer to steal a point. D.C. heads into the World Cup break sitting ninth in the Eastern Conference with 18 points.
