Chris Paul HBCU Classic Announces 2026 Field for Washington, D.C

The Chris Paul Family Foundation and Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame have announced the field for the third annual Toyota Chris Paul HBCU Classic, set for December 4–5 at CareFirst Arena in Washington, D.C. for the first time. The two-day showcase will feature Winston-Salem State, Clark Atlanta, Virginia State, West Virginia State, Hampton, Florida A&M, Grambling State, Tennessee State and Howard, bringing a collection of HBCU programs together for a national showcase of basketball, culture and tradition.

Paul, a 12-time NBA All-Star and longtime advocate for HBCU athletics, said the event reflects his commitment to giving HBCU student-athletes a platform to compete and showcase their talent. The Classic has become an important part of his broader work supporting HBCU education, sports and culture, with this year’s event bringing that mission to the nation’s capital.
