Almost a decade has passed since Bandai Namco revolutionized the fighting game community with the launch of TEKKEN 7. Now, after a prolonged anticipation, TEKKEN 8 has officially hit the scene, marking the next chapter in the series.
Delving into the ongoing narrative involving Kazuya Mishima and Jin Kazama, TEKKEN 8 showcases a compelling storyline complemented by overhauled combat mechanics. Notably, it introduces the “aggressive” combat system, placing emphasis on innovative offensive strategies. Furthermore, a newcomer-friendly single-player mode, Arcade Quest, allows players to create their own avatar and tackle various challenges. Beyond that, additional content is provided through the TEKKEN Fight Lounge and Super Ghost Battle, while cross-platform capabilities enhance multiplayer modes.
TEKKEN 8 is now available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. The game offers various editions, with the Standard Edition priced at $70 USD, the Deluxe Edition at $100 USD, the Ultimate Edition at $110 USD, and the Premium Collector’s Edition carrying a price tag of $300 USD.
