DJ D-Nice Hosts Club Quarantine Virtual Party

D-Nice is throwing the hottest party during quarantine, right from inside his own home, via Instagram Live on his IG account, @DNICE During these unprecedented times of a pandemic, bars and nightclubs are closed, concerts have been postponed, and people are staying home to quarantine, in an effort to prevent the spread of the novel corona virus, COVID-19. Isolation can be boring, and for many, even depressing. Creativity seems to be flourishing during quarantine, with many people finding new ways to keep themselves, and others, occupied and entertained. D-Nice is playing songs, mixing beats, and entertaining viewers…sometimes for 9 hours straight. He’s raising the spirits of thousands, with his virtual dance parties called “Homeschool” at “Club Quarantine,” all from his New York living room, while he too, self-quarantines for the safety and health of humanity.

What started as a way to continue doing what he loves, entertaining friends and fans, quickly became something greater. D-Nice hopped on his Instagram account and began spinning tunes via Instagram Live. His viewer count began to skyrocket, hitting 100,000 live viewers, including celebrity “attendees,” such as: Ellen DeGeneres, Rhianna, Will Smith, Oprah Winfrey, former Vice President Joe Biden, and even former first lady, Michelle Obama. D-Nice’s number of followers is growing too, with 1.7 million account followers.

On Wed. March 25, DJ D-Nice teamed up with Michelle Obama for a themed set, “Couch Party: A Voter Registration for “We All Vote” Live Set”. Volunteers across the country text eligible voters to help them register to vote, because “your on the couch, your friends are on their couches,” stated his instagram post. As people seek ways to relive stress, cope with anxiety, or a way to break up quarantine-monotony, DJ D-Nice is bringing music to the people with his uplifting beats, while providing a sense of escape, a way to encourage mental health, promoting creativity, and encouraging activity through dance – all while playing whatever he feels.
