I had just gotten home from the road and was ready to kick back and relax. Then DJ Milo G hit me like, “Yo, I’ve got this gig lakeside. You really need to pull up.”
I was with it because, like Mobb Deep said, sometimes you need a “Get Away.”
And boy, did this one deliver.
The lakeside retreat brought together some of Colombia’s hottest DJs, with Milo G, Julia, Kario One, Choco Beats and Rulaz providing the soundtrack for the day. Playing everything from Hip Hop, Reggaetón and Dancehall. In attendance was some of Medellín’s hottest women, fellas and tastemakers came out to party, vibe and enjoy the lakeside atmosphere from daytime well into the night.
And just when I thought things couldn’t get any better, a dance battle broke out that had me feeling like I had stepped right into a scene from You Got Served.
My advice? Holla at us and make sure you don’t miss the next one. This is definitely one of those events you want to be at.
