DTLR and PowerAde present the 3V3 basketball tournament here in Atlanta, Georgia. Music provided by Hot 1079 with Beestroh and DJ Geronimo. This 3 on 3 invitational consisted of sixteen teams, double elimination, and the outcome of one champion. The DTLR Community outreach team and Coca Cola teamed up to produce a very successful event. Spectators were able to win gifts via texting Coca Cola, dance contests, and basketball contests. Prizes included countless DTLR and Best Buy gift cards to I Pad’s and XBOX’s giveaways. Even Dominique Wilkins stopped by to give some knowledge to the teens. He stressed how important education was to be successful. He let them know that if they wanted to be successful with basketball they had to remember to be respectful and a good teammate. “What you do today dictates who you will become in the future,†he says. Kudos to the girls and guys of South Atlanta for taking home the championship trophies.
