Eliza Rose and Calvin Harris recently unveiled their collaborative track, ‘Body Moving.’
The chart-topping artist behind ‘B.O.T.A. (Baddest of Them All)’ reached out to the renowned DJ and producer last year, expressing a desire to hit the studio together. Calvin eagerly embraced the opportunity, and the result is a dazzling house tune that took shape following a joint performance at one of his Ushuaïa shows in Ibiza over the summer.
Expressing his enthusiasm, Calvin shared, “So excited to get this one out! Eliza is amazing!”
Eliza revealed her goal in creating a track that captures the essence of summer while setting dance floors ablaze. Describing the collaboration with Calvin as fabulous, she praised his down-to-earth nature and considered it an honor to work with one of the world’s best producers. Eliza expressed her disbelief at the possibility of such a collaboration and highlighted the uniqueness of the outcome, which she believes combines their individual identities and reflects their personal styles.
This collaboration with Calvin follows Eliza’s successful tracks, including the Mura Masa-produced UKG bubbler ‘Better Love’ and ‘Pleasure Peak’ with Martinez Brothers.
Last year, Eliza, at 31, surpassed the likes of Sir Elton John and Britney Spears to claim the number one spot on the UK chart with ‘B.O.T.A.,’ overtaking ‘Hold Me Closer.’ This achievement made her the first female DJ to top the Official Singles Chart in over 20 years. Reflecting on this accomplishment, she expressed gratitude to everyone who supported her, emphasizing the collaborative effort that propelled ‘B.O.T.A.’ to Number 1. Eliza marveled at the unexpected success and thanked her listeners, describing it as “The People’s Rhythm” and truly fabulous.
