Eminem is set to join the Fortnite universe in the upcoming “The Big Bang” event. Although it remains uncertain whether Eminem will perform during the event, the official Fortnite blog post hints at a musical showcase, much like Ariana Grande’s previous appearance.
Alongside Eminem’s presence in Fortnite, players can acquire exclusive cosmetics inspired by the rapper. The “Rap Boy,” “Slim Shady,” and “Marshall Never More” outfits will be available starting Wednesday, November 29. Attendees of The Big Bang event can unlock the “Marshall Magma Style” for the “Marshall Never More” outfit, featuring Eminem with glowing eyes and burning skin.
The finale for Fortnite Chapter 4 is scheduled for December 2, promising a “new beginning for Fortnite.” Speculation arises about the fate of the original Fortnite Island, but as of now, there are no definitive answers.
Fortnite recently faced criticism for controversial age restrictions that limited players from using specific skins on Islands. However, Epic Games has decided to reverse this decision, temporarily disabling cosmetic gating until a thorough reevaluation of their approach is complete.
The Fortnite team acknowledged being “conservative in how we reviewed cosmetics” and is currently in the process of reassessing all cosmetics. No cosmetic gating will be enforced until a clear path forward is determined.
