**So So Def **rapper** Da Brat** recently revealed her feminine side in a ‘summer
chic’ shoot for **VIBE.com**. The Chicago native, born **Shawntae Harris**, maintains
that despite her usual tomboy style, getting girlie is second nature. Brat – whose
current mixtape **_Life After Death_**_ _is available for download on [Global14.com](http://global14.com/dabrat/)
– gives some insight into the shoot here:

**_How did you feel about the Vibe.com photo shoot?_**

_I absolutely loved it! The stylist Tamara Connor was amazing.  Mara Z styled my
hair with the help of her assistant Dina as well as my regular hairstylist, Shontelle
Sampeur.  Mara also did my makeup.  Both hair and make-up were great. And I loved
the photographer, Alex. I definitely want to do more photo shoots with him because
I can tell he is passionate about his work. _

**_Was it uncomfortable transitioning into a “sex symbol” or is this just another
side of you that we never see?_**

_I’m such a fucking lady. I loved to get glammed up. I love manis and pedis. I
like to go to Vicky Secrets and La Perla because I like lace and bikinis. I’m
such a P.Y.T. (Pretty Young Thug)_

**_What type of message do you want to portray to women about their bodies._**

_Be who you are!_

**_What are you doing to stay in shape?_**

_Work out. Working out is like a stress reliever._

**_What type of clothes do you wear to make you look sexy?_**

_It depends on the look and how I’m feeling that day._

**_What is your favorite body part? _**

_I don’t have just one. I love all parts of my body! But on a man, I love the
Adonis line. It’s just so sexy! _

**_What do you have to say about your new mixtape? _**

_It’s DUMB STUPID CRAZY! It’s HOTTER THAN A MOTHER FUCKER! BRAT IS BACK!_
