Our Family Dinner ” is a social meeting of educated strangers who gather for the
sole purpose of simply breaking bread together. It was a bunch of strangers hoping
to meet a kindred spirit amongst the crowd. Sponsored by [_Zacapa Rum_](http://www.zacaparum.com/)
over the weekend in Midtown at [_Dolores_](http://www.doloreslolita.com) (but you
can call me lolita) [_Lawrence Adjah_](http://lawrenceadjah.com/), founder of [_Our Family Dinner_](http://www.ourfamilydinner.org),
greeted everyone with a hug as they entered FAMILY.

Founded in New York in 2008, the community-based family dinner tradition hosts thousands
of young adults over family style dinners twice a year to build community in major
cities all over the world. We’re now in 28 cities and growing.
