Throughout the years, an article of clothing that has never gone out of style is the leather jacket. Since the 1940’s, they’ve been a huge success. These jackets were first worn by aviators and members of the military. Actors in the 1950’s, such as James Dean, made the look very popular. The craze for the leather jacket has come and gone, gaining momentum in the 1980’s – they were very popular in the “grunge” scene. Now, the leather jacket is a trend among men for this spring. Many of these jackets have a ‘biker’ edge to them, and are very appealing to the eye. I stumbled upon a few of the newer designs for 2011 and have posted a few of my favorites, along with the names of the designers. Black is the popular and most common color for men’s jackets, but I chose to explore other colors and styles. Although the jackets I’ve chosen to showcase are quite expensive, there are also many affordable jackets that you can easily find… @Truestoryyy
