The King of Country took over Kyle Field in spectacular fashion. A 360 degree rotating stage captivated the crowd the whole night giving great views to the whole stadium. The show was Geroge Strait’s largest audience ever coming in at 110,905 guests surpassing AT&T Stadium’s attendance of around 104,000.
Key moments featured a tribute video to College Station Law Enforcement during George’s performance of “Weight of the Badge.”
George also paid tribute to some country legends with performances of “Way More Blues” by Waylon Jennings, “Are The Good Times Really Over” by Merle Haggard, and “Pancho and Lefty” by Willie Nelson.
A little over midway, George gave away a new home to an injured veteran with the help of the Military Heroes Support Foundation.
The crowd never took their seats as everyone stood the entire show. It was truly a sight to behold.
