Mokai is always a favorite for party goers on South Beach. On Thursdays , Mokai offers the intimacy and classy feel of a lounge, while also providing the hip-swinging sounds of today’s hottest hip-hop and R&B. From all the venues to choose from on the beach, Mokai on Thursdays is definitely my favorite, mainly due to the intimate and classy feel that many south beach venues lack, especially for Hip Hop parties. The night is organized by Miami Night Life heavy-hitters: Varsity Lifestyle Group and is definitely the place to be for a chill vibe with some very beautiful people. Because of its size,
the club is quite selective, so make sure you look your best as you will be rubbing shoulders with the biggest names in sports, music, and fashion if you do decide to hit Mokai on a Thursday. This past Thursday Mokai hosted the Moët/ 2-chainz after party and Derrick G, renowned Miami based photographer celebrated his birthday, bringing along Miami’s hottest faces in modeling and fashion. Mokai is always a favorite for athletes as well, and guests rubbed shoulders with Roger Mason of the Miami Heat, as well as Dimitri Patterson of the Miami Dolphins. If you head over to Mokai on a Thursday, dress in your best, put on those dancing shoes and have your camera ready, it is always a star-studded event.
