The Howard University football team faced an early deficit and fought back twice
to narrow the gap to just one score. However, a crucial kick return touchdown shifted
the momentum, ultimately sealing their fate. The Bison were defeated 27-14 by Tennessee
State University (TSU) in front of a packed crowd of nearly 10,000 at William H.
Greene Stadium.
