J. Cole launched The Fall-Off Tour on opening night with a 33-song set, performing portions of the show from the crowd rather than the stage.
The two-time Grammy winner’s decision to step off the stage and into the audience added an unconventional element to the tour’s first night, putting him in closer proximity to fans for parts of the performance.
The Charlotte stop served as the inaugural date of the world tour, with Cole delivering a lengthy setlist that spanned his catalog across all 33 tracks.
