Grammy-winning producer Jermaine Dupri has filed an $18 million lawsuit against Sony Music, alleging the company deliberately withheld royalties owed to him for work tied to artists including Mariah Carey and Usher.
Dupri claims Sony Music “engaged in willful deceitful actions” to avoid paying royalties he contends are rightfully his, according to the lawsuit.
