Houston turned all the way up tonight as Juvenile and OT Genasis shut down the Blavity Block Party, closing out AfroTech 2025 with pure energy and nostalgia.
Thousands of attendees packed Discovery Green for Blavity’s signature celebration — a mashup of music, culture, and tech innovation that perfectly capped off a week of Black excellence.
OT Genasis came out with his energy sky-high, running through club anthems like “CoCo” and “Cut It”, turning the night into a full-on street party. Then Juvenile had the crowd singing word-for-word to classics like “Ha” and “Back That Azz Up”, proving his timeless influence on hip-hop.
The Block Party wasn’t just about music — it was about community. From local food trucks and Black-owned brand activations to DJs spinning everything from bounce to trap, the event embodied the creative and entrepreneurial spirit that AfroTech celebrates every year.
